The Pokémon Legends: Z-A Pokédex keeps track of every Pokémon you encounter in Lumiose City whether it's one you've caught or simply seen in battle.

Wild Pokémon can be found throughout Lumiose City - from the Wild Zones to the rooftops to even a narrow alley. Your trusty Pokémon Legends: Z-A Pokédex will record their locations, so you can catch them whenever you like.

How many Pokémon are there in Pokémon Legends Z-A?

There are 231 Pokémon in the base version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A Pokédex. Originally this was number was 230, but it increased when Diancie was released in the game on Thursday 6th November.

The Pokédex will further increase once the story section of the Mega Dimensions DLC is released. This DLC will include both Pokémon, like Hoopa and Chimecho, and new Mega Evolutions.

Finally, it's important to note that this total does not include any Mega Evolutions or Pokémon variants, such as ones from other regions. The Mega Evolutions themselves have their own separate Pokédex where you can easily keep track of which ones you have and haven't seen.
