The Meta Quest 3S standalone VR headset is discounted on both sides of the Atlantic for Black Friday
£229 in the UK, and $249 in the US.
The Meta Quest 3S, one of the best VR headsets ever made, is down to just £229/$249 at Currys UK and Amazon US respectively, a £60/$50 reduction from its usual price. That's excellent value for a standalone VR headset with 128GB of internal storage, a Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 chipset with 8GB RAM and two convenient controllers.
The benefit of the Quest 3S is that it's a completely standalone VR headset, so you don't have to put up tracking cameras or even plug it into anything - you can watch videos, play games and much more completely wireless. You can also use it to stream games from your PC, which works surprisingly well and lets you access gems like Boneworks and Half-Life: Alyx.

Of course, the spectre of the Steam Frame looms large, but the odds are that the new standalone headset from Valve will cost significantly more than the Quest 3S - especially at this Black Friday discount price.
